ICM 1:35 Universal Military Pod with M8A1 Mat (HC-ICM53201)

The ICM Universal Military Pod with M8A1 US Landing Mat (part number HC-ICM53201) is a 1:35 scale plastic model kit depicting the transport container used with the CH-54 Tarhe heavy-lift helicopter. The real pod featured windows, doors and a rear ramp for loading light equipment and vehicles, and it could be used to move troops, the wounded or cargo. A total of 22 pods were produced, each with a unique registration, and they could also be towed on trailers when on the ground. This boxing also includes an M8A1 US landing mat element, ideal for enhancing airfield or landing zone dioramas.
