Description
The ICM Ural-375A Command Vehicle, part number HC-ICM72712, is a 1:72 plastic model kit of a Soviet 6×6 command vehicle. The Ural-375 was a 5-tonne heavy truck used as a standard wheel vehicle by the Soviet Army, while its chassis also formed the basis for specialist vehicles including mobile command posts, radio stations, radar stations, missile launchers, fuel bowsers and multiple rocket launch systems.
The Ural-375D entered production in Miass in 1964, and vehicles from the Ural-375 family were used by Soviet and Warsaw Pact armies, as well as armed forces in Africa, Asia and the Near East. This kit represents the Ural-375A command vehicle and provides detailed plastic sprues for assembly, supported by detailed instructions.
Markings
Two painting schemes are available for the model, allowing it to be finished in either the standard scheme for Ural-375A vehicles or a camouflage scheme. These options provide alternative ways to present the completed command vehicle within a Soviet military collection or a wider scale vehicle display.
