The ICM V3000S (1941 production) German Army Truck in 1:35 scale captures one of the most widely used German logistics vehicles of World War II. Powered by a 95 hp V8 petrol engine and built at the Ford plant in Cologne from 1941, the V3000S saw service with the German army, air force and navy. Although rear-wheel drive limited its off-road ability—prompting the semi-tracked V3000S/SSM “Maultier” variant—the standard six-wheeled truck remained in extensive use throughout the war.

This kit (part number HC-ICM35411) represents the 1941 production version and features highly detailed sprues produced in quality plastic. A four-version decal sheet and clear assembly instructions are included, supporting historically themed builds from the Eastern Front to the Mediterranean. With 190 parts and precise engineering, it offers an engaging build with accurate proportions and crisp detail.

What’s In The Box

  • Plastic parts to build the V3000S (1941) truck
  • Four-version decal sheet
  • Detailed assembly instructions
The V3000S with a 95hp V8 petrol engine was launched at the Ford plant in Cologne in 1941. Production continued until the end of World War II, with a total production run of more than 25,000 vehicles. This truck was used by the German army, air force and navy. The vehicle had only rear-wheel drive, so it had insufficient off-road capability. To solve this problem, about 14,000 of these trucks were produced in the Maultier semi-tracked version, designated V3000S/SSM. The regular six-wheeled trucks were still widely used throughout the war, however.
