Willspeed Associated B7 Fast Fox Conversion Kit

Kit includes everything required including hardware and a bodyshell. All carbon and billet aluminium to our usual standards.

This is looking like our biggest release to date and is something that is potentially revolutionary in 1:10 buggy racing. 

We have been running three pre production models now for the past couple of months and the pace is real and feedback is really strong in person and it's caught the eye of many on social platforms and the numbers we are seeing on views and share is crazy!

Innovation never stops and as refinement continues in model car racing, an alternate step is required to bring the next stage, the new era. 
We at WS pride our selves in both innovative thinking and engineering ability, combining those entities Fast Fox was born. 

Introducing a cantilever suspension system, this provides significant benefits applicable to all tracks and conditions - 

Lower CoG
In race cars, full size and model lower the Center of Gravity reduces bodyroll and increases stability allowing for increased cornering speeds, increased setup ability with less risk of flipping over.
With all the damper mass moved below the upper link level

Polar MoI 
The unique positioning of the dampers on the Fast Fox is intentional.
Polar Moment of Inertia is about centralising mass. By moving the shocks and their associated mounts inboard we have taken weight out of the ends of the car without adding sprung mass. 
This will both speed up the response of the car when turning but also help the suspension to maintain a steady platform over the bumps.

Aero
The dampers and the towers are not in the way!
Ignore the wheels and tires the frontal area of the car is almost 30% less. This not only reduces drag but, just as significantly, creates a smooth path for the air flow to the wings, the drag is much more effective and adjustable.

Adjustability 
One of the key requirements for the design during the development phase was to create a system that responds just like the kit suspension does. If you have a setup dialled in at your home track you can transfer this to the new chassis and go racing. Then with the improvements detailed above and the extra adjustability that a push rod, inboard suspension system brings you can start finding new gains that simply weren’t available you before..
Cantilevers bring a whole new world of adjustment which has only just been unleashed. 

In a time dominated by small changes this could well be next big milestone change!
