Description
The XRay T4 20 Graphite Upper Deck 1.6mm (XR301061) is engineered around a centre layshaft positioned mid-chassis. Its perfectly symmetrical layout promotes consistent, predictable flex across the platform.
This 1.6mm graphite top deck is recommended for low- to medium-traction conditions when used with an aluminium (alu) chassis.
Flex Settings
- Soft setting – Do not connect the top deck to the stand for maximum chassis flex and steering response; the car may be more demanding to drive.
- Medium setting – Connect via a ball bearing so the top deck can flex side-to-side while limiting front-to-rear flex.
- Stiff setting – Connect via a fixed bushing to stiffen the whole car for increased stability.
This tuning part’s symmetrical design and adjustable stand connection provide a clear path to dial in steering, rotation and stability as track grip changes.

Specifications
This 1.6mm graphite top deck is recommended for use in low- to medium-traction conditions with the alu chassis.
The top deck can be mounted via connecting stand using these flex alternatives:
1.) Soft setting – The top deck is not connected to the stand for maximum flex to generate maximum steering but can be more difficult to drive.
2.) Medium setting – The top deck is connected to the stand through a ball-bearing which allows the top deck to flex side-to-side but not front-to-rear.
3.) Stiff setting – The top deck is connected to the stand through a fixed bushing that completely stiffens the whole car for increased stability.
