XRay X12 18 Graphite Chassis 2.5mm

The XRay X12 18 Graphite Chassis 2.5mm (part XR371109) is a CNC-machined main chassis plate produced from high-grade 2.5mm graphite. A specially designed graphite compound suits low-, medium- and high-traction tracks and, being softer than aluminium, helps the chassis generate additional traction.

The chassis has been completely re-designed and re-engineered. To prevent the front of the chassis contacting the track surface, the assembly is split into two pieces: the main chassis and an elevated graphite bumper holder. This approach shortens the chassis by 14mm and raises the bumper holder above the track. The split design minimises scrub at the front for increased steering, more consistent handling in high-traction conditions, and improved off-power steering.
