XRay XT2D 28 Radio Control Chassis XR320211

The XRay XT2D 28 radio-control chassis, part number XR320211, features a 2.5mm chassis with revised flex control for traction and handling. Its widened rear chassis section increases stability, while the Flat Chassis Brace provides an additional way to adjust chassis flex. Longer side guards extend the flex-control area and provide a new fan-mount position.

Chassis And Drivetrain Updates

The RF (C) suspension holder has been redesigned to integrate with the Flat Chassis Brace, and the 3G gearbox has been updated for the lower chassis brace. A lowered motor mount positions the motor closer to the chassis for a lower centre of gravity. Lighter differential outdrives reduce rotational mass, supporting faster acceleration, sharper braking and improved drivetrain efficiency. An aluminium rear roll-centre holder adds a third roll-centre position and provides clearance for the rear anti-roll-bar collar.

Suspension And Body

Medium solid suspension arms are fitted at the front and rear, with 3.5mm turnbuckles, 5.4mm ball ends and 5.4mm composite ball joints. The ball joints are designed to provide smooth, consistent suspension movement. New front and rear carbon shock towers use lower mounting geometry, while shorter shock bodies and shafts reduce mass and lower the centre of gravity. The +2mm shock ball joints extend the droop adjustment range, and the -2mm and -4mm spring collars provide further ride-height adjustment.

The low-profile body lowers the centre of gravity and is intended to support the chassis handling changes. New front and rear springs are listed with suggested compatibility for XB2 models. A soft composite front anti-roll-bar mounting plate is also included in the chassis design.
