Losi Mini JRX2.... is it worth having?
Updated by Frank
The Team Losi mini JRX2 is a 1/16 scale 2wd buggy that pays homage to the original JRX that shaped the RC race community! This little rucksack racer comes complete with everything in the box including a 7.4v lipo battery and super handy USB charger. It's also available in 3 colours, blue, black, and red with optional clear bodies available to purchase so you can get creative if you want to. The chassis boasts a fibreglass main chassis, fully ball raced, aluminium shocks, 5 link rear suspension and a race inspired motor!
Are they fun to use?
Yes! whilst not massively fast by any means if you set yourself a small circuit to follow they are great fun due to the handling capabilities and the rear motor, rear wheel drive setup. When it comes to jumping I was surprised at how this little racer managed to stay stable and most landings seemed to be smooth without chassis slap so all good in that department.
Are they worth having?
This really depends on what you want to do with the model. This is not a basher, and it certainly is not a proper circuit racer, so if that is what you are looking for you will need to look at other models. But what it is. . . is great fun. Ideal if you have a small area to use an RC car that is not too big and not too fast. It is ideal for younger ones to learn about track set ups and racing techniques without spending hundreds of pounds on a high end chassis. It's also great simply if you had an original JRX and just want this to remind you of the good old days of RC racing.
