Do 217M-1 - WWII German Bomber

The ICM Do 217M-1 – WWII German Bomber in 1:48 scale (HC-ICM48274) recreates the Dornier variant developed when BMW 801D engines were redirected to fighter production in 1943. Dornier adapted the K-1 airframe to use DB 603A powerplants, producing the M-1 with four-bladed propellers and improved performance. With 1,750 hp on tap, the type reached a top speed of 557 km/h, with only a slight reduction in range compared to its predecessor. Defensive armament and bomb load remained the same as the Do 217K, and the M-1 served with Luftwaffe bomber and reconnaissance units through to the end of the war.
