Description
The FMS Zero A6M5 1100mm PNP (FMS082P) is a detailed scale warbird inspired by the famed WWII Mitsubishi Zero. With a 1100mm wingspan and durable EPO construction, it blends authentic detailing with practical assembly and flight performance for intermediate pilots.
Scale fidelity is front and centre: landing gear doors, a hand-painted pilot, three-blade propeller, authentic graphics and removable drop tanks are complemented by plastic moulded parts including a scale cowling, split flaps, air scoop, oil cooler, machine guns, strut covers, antenna mast and pitot tube. A full-length carbon fibre–reinforced wing and one-piece removable wing design provide strength and convenience, while worm drive electronic retracts and slow, scale flap actuation support confident take-offs and landings.
Reinforced wing surfaces allow advanced manoeuvres such as point rolls, barrel rolls, Immelmanns, half-Cubans and split-S with ease. As a Plug-N-Play model, the Zero arrives with key electronics pre-installed; add your radio gear and flight pack to get airborne.

The Zero was a long-range fighter aircraft operated by the Imperial Japanese Air Service. In early combat operations, the Zero gained a legendary reputation as a 'dogfighter' remaining king of the air until around 1943. The aircraft was designed with long range and performance in mind, durability and pilot protection were not considered priorities which led to many very good pilots loosing their lives. Ultimately this resulted in an Allied advantage later in the war.
