Light Aircraft Grey Story
Light Aircraft Grey was introduced by the RAF in 1945. It was originally used on aircraft undersides to minimise the visual signature from the ground, including near water and at low altitude. By the late 1970s, Light Aircraft Grey was extended to cover the entire airframe of certain designs.
