Just like its predecessor, the Venture18 U4 features a rugged formed steel C-channel chassis and realistic drivetrain design. It comes equipped with a precision-engineered all-metal 2-speed transmission, full-time locked differentials, 4-link suspension front and rear, and universal telescopic counter-rotating driveshafts – delivering true off-road performance in any environment. V2 Oil-filled shock absorbers provide smooth, consistent control, while the compact scale ensures you can take it anywhere.

This Venture18 marks the exciting arrival of the Ford Bronco 4400 to the HPI lineup – a bold, trail-ready rig inspired by the legendary Ultra4 off-road race machines. The officially licensed body features aggressive RTR Vehicles Off-Road styling, molded tube-style roll cage and interior, front LED light bar, and a pre-painted clipless polycarbonate body, in either Vaughn Gittin Jr or Loren Healy high-impact desert race livery that captures the essence of Ford's off-road racing heritage.

The Venture18 U4 comes equipped with a powerful, fully functional LED light bar that’s directly controlled from your transmitter – putting lighting control right at your fingertips!

Thanks to the built-in light controller, the Venture18 U4 offers multiple lighting modes straight out of the box. Easily cycle between Day Mode, Dusk Mode, and Night Mode for the perfect level of illumination, whether you're crawling in daylight or charging through the dark.

The Venture18 features a sturdy and reliable 4-link suspension front and at the rear. 4mm composite rod links with integrated ball links form the lower and upper suspension links front and rear.

The chassis layout has been reworked to accommodate the narrower Ford Bronco 4400 body. As a result, the side skirts and rock rails have been removed, and the rear chassis brace has been redesigned to house the radio components and battery pack.

 The Venture18 features counter-rotating telescopic center driveshafts with universal joints at both ends for super-smooth power transmission to the front and rear axles. This virtually eliminates torque-twist on the chassis when the truck is powering up tough inclines!

CENTER SERVO OPERATED 2-SPEED TRANSMISSION 

The Venture18 is equipped with an all-metal, servo-operated 2-speed transmission, designed for superior performance and durability. With the flick of a switch on the transmitter, you can effortlessly switch between low and high gears, giving you the flexibility to tackle any terrain with ease.

Low Gear boasts an impressive final drive ratio of 81.44:1, providing exceptional slow-speed crawling capabilities for those tight, technical trails and obstacles. And when you need a burst of speed on a flat, open section - or just need a wild amount of power to get up a climb! - simply shift to High Gear on the transmitter for a final drive ratio of 20.36:1, offering a blast of speed!

V2 SHOCKS

For ultimate trail tuning, the Venture18 U4 features aluminum-capped oil-filled threaded body shock absorbers with a new lower threaded aluminum seal cap and soft springs that will easily handle the gentle bumps and dips you encounter while driving, as well as the harder hits that come with off-road trailing!

You can tune your truck's ride with different shock oils or fine-tune on the run with the threaded aluminum spring collars to make the Venture18 perform at its best on the trail.
