The LGB Electronic Loco Controller 5 Amp (HC-L51079) brings modern control and high current capability to analogue-operated LGB layouts. Delivering smoothed DC and very fine throttle response, it features a centre-off control range of +/- 135°, a dedicated Stop/Halt button, and a booster button with programmable acceleration for smooth, repeatable starts. It replaces the previous LGB item 51070.

What is the difference between android and digital locos and will this controller work with either?

This is an analogue controller - if a customer has a digital loco, (depending on the decoder fitted in the loco) it will only work on analogue and therefore have limited functionality.

If the customer wants to upgrade to a controller that will operate analogue trains (DC) and digital (DCC or MFX) he will need the Marklin Central station
