Can this engine have a pullstart fitted to it and if so where can i get the back plate and suitable pull start for it as i don’t want to buy a starter box and an engine

Yes, but you'd need a new backplate, crankshaft and pull starter system which would be pretty difficult to source, and likely work out more expensive than either a complete new pullstart engine, or a starter box...!
