Tamiya 6X4 Krupp Protze Personnel Carrier

The Tamiya 6x4 Krupp Protze Personnel Carrier recreates the German Army’s Kfz.70, widely used during the early stages of WWII to transport troops and supplies. The real vehicle featured a sloped hood over a compact air-cooled inline four-cylinder engine, plus rear double wishbone independent suspension for excellent off-road capability. Many front-line examples carried a tripod-mounted MG34, while the spacious cargo area was fitted with bench seating.

This 1/35 scale plastic assembly kit (Tamiya part HC-35317) captures the distinctive form and fine mechanical detail of the Krupp Protze. The cargo bed can be brought to life with included weapons and stowage, and enamelled wire is provided to depict barbed wire for authentic diorama scenes.
