Previously packaged with the battlecruiser HMS Hood, the Tamiya British E Class Destroyer (HC-31909) is now available as a standalone 1/700 Waterline Series model kit. Build a single ship or use multiple kits to portray a flotilla, and present it alongside other destroyers for an impressive naval display.
To protect vital sea lanes across the British Empire, the Royal Navy commissioned numerous destroyers in the lead-up to WWII. The nine E-class ships—Exmouth, Echo, Eclipse, Electra, Encounter, Escapade, Escort, Esk and Express—were completed in 1934 and took part in significant wartime operations.
