The ICM AH-1G Arctic Cobra – U.S. Helicopter (HC-ICM32063) captures the distinctive white-and-red test aircraft operated in low-temperature conditions in Alaska. Proven for survivability during combat operations in Southeast Asia and retained in U.S. Army service thereafter, these "Arctic Cobras" were evaluated at Elmendorf and Fort Richardson. This large-format 1:32 kit offers a choice of early or late production airframes, backed by accurate surface and interior detail to showcase the AH-1G’s cockpit, engine and fuselage.

With 241 parts and a finished length of 422 mm, this model provides ample scope for crisp detailing and an impressive display presence. Highly detailed sprues, quality plastic and clear assembly guidance support a precise build, while a three-option decal sheet delivers bright Arctic colour schemes reflecting Alaska-based aircraft. During the combat operations in Southeast Asia, the Cobras showed excellent survivability. They proved to be a reliable and powerful ground support aircraft, and after the end of combat operations the helicopters continued to be in service with the U.S. Army. Some helicopters were tested and operated in low-temperature conditions in Alaska, particularly at Elmendorf and Fort Richardson bases. Painted in white and red, these helicopters were also called “Arctic Cobras”.
