About British Racing Green
The colour’s legacy dates to the 1903 Gordon Bennett race held in Ireland, when British cars were painted green in tribute to their hosts. In 1929, William Grover-Williams won the first Monaco Grand Prix in a darker shade that became known as British Racing Green.

British Racing Green Story
In 1903, the Gordon Bennet car race was held in Ireland. To pay homage to their Irish hosts, and since other countries had already used England's national colours, the British cars were painted in green. The trend continued and in 1929, the first Monaco Grand Prix was won by Briton William Grover-Williams using a darker shade of green, known since then as British Racing Green.
Colours of Britain
Jubilee is a celebration of British history and culture, expressed in colour. This carefully curated palette has its origins in the pioneering British Standard colours of the 1930s. Celebrate your British spirit with Jubilee!
