A working smoke system emits glycerin-based exhaust, while four distinct sound sets recreate the full spectrum of mechanical sounds—engine start-up, idle, acceleration, turret traverse, gun elevation, machine gun bursts, cannon fire and shutdown. Volume is adjustable across five levels to suit any setting.

Armed with a 6mm plastic BB launcher capable of reaching up to 10 metres, the KV-2 is designed for target practice, but always requires eye protection and safety awareness. It also features infrared battle readiness, compatible with Heng Long's IR system, enabling up to 20 tanks to engage in simulated combat. Hits are signalled with flashing LEDs and sound effects, and after five hits the tank shuts down briefly before restarting.
