Racer Tips for a Reliable Bond
- Wash hands before assembly and clean tyre bead with an all-purpose cleaner (Dirt Racing Products #8000 suggested).
- Avoid touching the cleaned bead area to maintain maximum bond strength.
- Fit the glue tip applicator to the bottle and trim to your preferred length.
- Pull back the tyre bead and apply a liberal amount of glue to the mating surfaces.
- Wipe excess glue and allow to dry in a warm, ventilated area; direct sunlight is ideal.
- Use JConcepts tyre mounting rubber bands (#2005 or #2212) to hold the bead in position as it cures.
- Inspect, touch up if needed, and you’re ready to race.

Racer tips for a properly mounted tire
Wash hands prior to assembling and gluing.
Clean bead area of tire with all purpose cleaner. Use Dirt Racing Products #8000, Dirt Cleaner for best results.
Avoid touching bead area for best bond strength.
Use only high quality (#2043M or #2043T), purpose built tire glue.
Slide the glue tip applicator partially (force fit) onto bottle and cut tube to desired length.
Pull back tire bead area and apply a liberal amount of glue to mating surfaces.
Wipe excess glue with a rag and allow to dry in a warm ventilated area. Direct sunlight is best.
Place JConcepts tire mounting rubber bands (#2005 or #2212) around the outside of the sidewall to assist in proper positioning.
Check your work and perform any touch-up necessary.
