The Maverick Microbe is proof that big thrills really do come in small packages.

This 1/24th scale off-road buggy squeezes proper racing tech into a compact chassis you can run almost anywhere – from makeshift indoor circuits to rough-and-ready backyard tracks.

A sleek 1.5mm anodized aluminum chassis, fully ballraced drivetrain and a smooth 3-gear rear transmission work together to give the Microbe a planted, precise feel. Add in oil-filled coilover shocks and vented wheels with foam inserts, and you’ve got a tiny buggy that loves to carve corners, soak up bumps, and fire out of turns with confidence.

Under the “Top Notch” polycarbonate shell, there’s real hardware doing the work: metal gears where it counts, metal outdrives, axles and rear dogbones for durability, plus a sealed differential for consistent performance run after run.

The MSRS-702 2-in-1 ESC/RX is still used, but in its Receiver function and an FLX28 Brushless combo is added for that unmistakable Flux performance and reliability, while the quick-access battery tray makes pit stops fast and fuss-free. Fully Ready-To-Run with the MTX-702 radio, 7.4V 350mAh LiPo and USB charger included, you’re just a charge away from your first race.

And because going fast should look good too, the Microbe FLUX comes in two new vibrant colors: Blue, and Yellow – each with both a painted and a clear wing in the box.

Its dedicated Microbe Racing wheels and tires are designed to make this tiny buggy feel glued to the ground, with a NEW mini block design intended for lower grip surfaces such as dirt or foam tiles. The vented 7mm hex wheels help the tires stay consistent over longer runs, while the foam inserts support the carcass so the buggy stays sharp and predictable in fast direction changes. Up front, the Microbe is built to take a beating and keep its line. The rigid front bracing ties the suspension and chassis together for a solid, confident feel, so the buggy soaks up the bumps without the steering going vague. The Microbe’s lightweight polycarbonate “Top Notch” bodyshell is secured with Velcro, so you can pop it off in seconds—no tiny body clips to drop or lose—while the ultra quick battery system uses two easy-access 90-degree twist locks to release the pack in an instant. Despite the fast access, everything sits snug and secure while you’re driving, staying locked in place through rolls, jumps and hard landings. It’s the perfect balance of convenience and durability, letting you spend more time driving and less time fiddling.

For maximum power, you need a powerful and versatile motor! This 1626 8000KV 2S capable motor has it in spades, enough for big air, huge top speeds, and wheel-spinning, grin-inducing sideways stunts!

Metal outdrives, axles and rear dogbones team up with a sealed 3-gear differential and metal top layshaft gear to deliver smooth, consistent drive you can rely on, run after run. Out back, the oil-filled coilover shocks and carefully tuned rear suspension geometry keep the tires pressed into the surface, soaking up bumps and landings without upsetting the car.
