Favoured by discerning model builders worldwide, it offers reliable application, strong bonding and a resilient, sealed surface that stands up to regular use.
Thanks to a 5% shrinkage in both directions, Oratex conforms neatly around corners and edges, with creases removable using a heat gun. Its adhesive delivers a bond around twice as strong as many conventional fabric coverings, while the fabric itself provides notable toughness and dimensional stability. The treated surface is resistant to fuel and oil, and can be painted or varnished if desired – though there’s no need to do so.
