Tamiya Med Tank Carro Armator M13/40

The Tamiya Med Tank Carro Armator M13/40 (HC-35296) is a 1/35 scale plastic assembly kit of Italy’s principal WWII medium tank. Faithfully capturing the riveted hull and distinctive bogie/leaf-spring suspension, this kit measures 143mm in length and delivers crisp surface detail befitting Tamiya’s reputation for fit and finish.

Drawing on service history in the North African theatre alongside the German Afrika Korps, the model depicts the M13/40 with its 47mm main gun mounted in Italy’s first hydraulically operated turret. The subject was powered by a 125hp V8 diesel, with around 800 vehicles produced between 1940 and 1943 and a top speed of approximately 30km/h.
