About The Nissan Skyline GT-R

With blistering performance, the Skyline GT-R made a welcome return to Japanese motorsport in 1989 after a 16-year hiatus. Its 2,568cc inline six-cylinder, DOHC, 24-valve engine employs twin ceramic turbochargers and an intercooler to deliver a quoted 280 horsepower, engineered from the outset for competition use.

To put the power down, Nissan fitted ATTESA E-TS variable torque-split four-wheel drive and the SUPER-HICAS four-wheel steering system. Refined multi-link suspension minimises spin potential under hard running, while powerful ventilated disc brakes provide fade-resistant stopping.
