Tamiya Red Oxide Primer L

Tamiya Red Oxide Primer L (HC-87160) recreates the colour of anti-rust paint traditionally used as a primer on military vehicles. It can be applied not only as an undercoat to prepare surfaces, but also as a topcoat to achieve an authentic red oxide finish for military modelling projects.

The formulation provides an excellent base when painting photo-etched parts and other difficult-to-paint surfaces, promoting even coverage for subsequent layers. Supplied in a 180ml can, it is well-suited to larger tasks and armour builds where consistent priming and accurate colour tone are important.
