Tamiya Scania 8X4/4

The Tamiya HC-56371 Scania 770 S 8x4/4 is a highly detailed 1/14 scale R/C model assembly kit that recreates the newest heavy-class NEXT GENERATION SCANIA tractor head. With a metal-rich chassis, an authentic injection-moulded cab and a host of scale details, this premium kit delivers a realistic build and a commanding on-road presence.

True to the full-size 770 hp V8-powered 8x4/4, the model uses double rear-axle drive and double front-axle steering on a robust metal ladder frame. A front-mounted motor feeds an assembly type 3-speed transmission for selectable gearing via a separately sold 4-channel transmitter. The highly realistic suspension uses metal leaf springs and includes a lift axle; the second axle can be raised or lowered by hand, mirroring the mechanism on the real truck.
