Tamiya Scania 8x4/4 - Gun Metal

The Tamiya HC-56376 Scania 770 S 8x4/4 is a 1/14 scale radio control semi-truck assembly kit supplied with a pre-painted Gun Metal body. Faithfully recreating the heavy-duty NEXT GENERATION SCANIA series, this version captures the 8x4/4 layout with double front-axle steering and double rear-axle drive on a robust metal ladder frame.

Measuring 610mm long, 196mm wide and 320mm high (excluding side mirrors and antenna), the model features numerous metal parts for chassis rigidity and realism. The injection-moulded cab arrives pre-painted in Tamiya TS-38 Gun Metal with a durable urethane top coat, while detailed rear equipment such as the auxiliary machinery tower, fuel tank and air tank add to its authentic presence.

The drivetrain places the motor and transmission at the front, just like the full-size vehicle. Metal leaf spring suspension includes a functional lift axle that can be raised or lowered by hand at the second axle. An assembly-type 3-speed transmission allows shifting using a separately sold 4-channel transmitter. Interior parts including a modern dashboard and seats are included and can be installed alongside a Multi-Function Control Unit. Suggested compatibility: Tamiya MFC-03 (56523) to add lights, sound and vibration.
