Request Stock NotificationThe ICM Tupolev-144 – Soviet Supersonic Passenger Aircraft (HC-ICM14401) is a 1:144 scale plastic model kit of the world’s first supersonic airliner. It provides finely moulded parts and clear assembly guidance, with two finishing options covering service and display appearances from the 1970s.
The real Tu-144 first flew on 31 December 1968, preceding the Anglo-French Concorde by two months. Entering limited service in the 1970s, nine aircraft with NK‑144A engines were produced, capable of carrying around 150 passengers over approximately 4,150 km at cruise speeds near 2,340 km/h. Two airframes operated the Moscow–Alma-Ata route between November 1977 and June 1978.
