XRay XT2C 28 RC Car Kit XR320210 – New Chassis

The XRay XT2C 28 RC car kit, part number XR320210, is built around an all-new 2.5mm chassis designed to balance traction, flex and control. Its widened rear chassis section is intended to increase stability, while the new flat chassis brace provides a way to tune flex characteristics. Longer side guards extend this flex control and incorporate a new fan mount position, giving the chassis layout more adjustment potential.

Chassis And Drivetrain Design

The redesigned RF (C) suspension holder integrates with the flat chassis brace, and the updated 3G gearbox is designed for use with the lower chassis brace. A lowered motor mount helps reduce the centre of gravity, while lighter differential outdrives reduce rotational mass. This combination is intended to support faster acceleration, sharper braking and improved drivetrain efficiency without adding unnecessary rotating weight.

At the rear, an aluminium roll centre holder provides a third roll centre position and clearance for the rear anti-roll bar collar. Medium solid front and rear suspension arms are combined with 3.5mm turnbuckles, 5.4mm ball ends and 5.4mm composite ball joints for a durable, rigid and consistently moving suspension assembly.

Suspension And Body Details

Front and rear carbon shock towers use lower mounting geometry, while shorter shock bodies and shafts help reduce mass and lower the centre of gravity. Longer shock ball joints provide an additional 2mm of droop adjustment range, and the supplied spring collars offer -2mm and -4mm ride height adjustment options. The new front and rear springs are stated as compatible with XB2, representing suggested compatibility rather than confirmed fitment for every XB2 configuration.

A new low-profile body further lowers the centre of gravity and is designed to improve handling. The soft composite front anti-roll bar mounting plate adds a reliability-focused detail to the suspension arrangement, complementing the revised holders, arms and shock geometry.
