Zvesda English Medieval Ship 'Thomas' 1:72

Celebrate medieval naval history with the Zvesda English Medieval Ship 'Thomas' (HC-Z9038) in 1:72 scale. The cog 'Thomas' was the flagship of the English fleet at the 1340 Battle of Sluis, a victory that secured English naval supremacy in the early Hundred Years' War. Fought in the harbour of Bruges, West Flanders, King Edward III commanded around 250 English ships against several hundred vessels led by French Admiral Hugues Quirje.

Cogs served as merchant and military vessels from the 10th to 14th centuries and typically carried a single mast with roughly 150–200 m² of sail. This kit presents a faithful representation of the period vessel and makes an engaging historical ship model project.
