The Zvesda Mig-31B Rr (HC-Z7244) captures the formidable high-altitude interceptor accepted into service in 1990. This 1:72 scale model kit represents the MiG-31B variant, which was equipped with an air-to-air refuelling system that extended both flight range and patrol duration.
During subsequent modernisation, the refuelling system was also fitted to earlier aircraft. In 2013, MiG-31 fighters demonstrated their endurance by setting a non-stop flight record: 7 hours and 4 minutes covering over 8,000 km with three air refuellings.
