FTX Tracer unboxing

Hi guys, I have a great little car here to test.

It is the FTX tracer. I have decided to try the brushed version that is on our site for less than £70 and has a great reputation as a budget entry into the RC car world.

Here is how the car looks out of the box:

Considering it is a budget car, you get 4wd, a sturdy little chassis (of which Wheelspin does all the spares for should you break it), and great off road tyres.

The bag pictured has the four small body clips and a USB charger that charges the small battery through the white balance lead and will do it in approximately one hour.

It also includes a 2.4 Ghz transmitter and receiver, so no worries of signal interruption. There are trim dials for great adjustability on such a budget car.

This little car can be upgraded to brushless (or you can buy the more expensive brushless version), and has a large amount of spares and even upgrades listed on our site. I would estimate the brushed car I have here will do around 12-15 mph. The brushless car should be around 25-30 mph. I will confirm speed later on.

It comes in the different body styles above (I have gone for the monster truck version), and looks a great bit of kit. I will update you as soon as I have given it a good durability test at the local park, but it looks to be fantastic value for money.
