The Prolux 4.8V–9.6V AC Adaptor TX/RX Charger (PX2114) is designed for charging radio transmitter and receiver battery packs and is supplied with a UK plug. It provides dedicated outputs for both TX and RX packs and includes a female Futaba connector alongside a standard transmitter plug.

Suggested compatibility: Futaba radio NiMH or NiCd battery packs within the stated voltage range.

I use this to charge up a 6v hump pack my savage uses. It does have an indicator on it to show you if it's charging or not but is very basic. It doesn't seem to have n automatic cut off either so keeping an eye on the battery while it's being charged is an absolute must. It's a basic charger but still works well enough for what I need. It can also charge a transmitter as well but ONLY if it has the function on the transmitter to allow that to happen. I just use it to charge my 6 volt battery packs.

Yes you would just time it, this charger does 100mah per hour, so you would take the Mah of the battery and divide it by 100, and this would give you how many hours it needs to be on charger for.

You can but we normally advise against running rechargeable batteries in your transmitter as they have a slightly lower voltage, ( 1.2v per battery not 1.5 ) so over 8 batteries the voltage is much lower giving lower range and performance of the transmitter. just use some good quality batteries and as long as you turn it off after every use it will last months.

Yes, that should work - however you'd be better upgrading the AA batteries to a pack such as EP1600H
