Sound and visual realism is brought to life with four distinct sound sets, each featuring engine start-up, idle, acceleration, turret traverse, elevation, machine gun bursts, cannon fire and shutdown effects. Volume is adjustable across five levels, and the programmable track recoil simulates cannon fire with a realistic rearward jolt at low, medium or high intensity.

Operational features include switchable headlights and brake lights, LED indicators that flash when the tank is hit in IR battle mode, and a smoke system that emits glycerin-based exhaust for added realism. The turret rotates up to 320 degrees, and the cannon elevates up to 30 degrees, allowing for full battlefield engagement.

Combat-ready out of the box, this model fires 6mm plastic BBs at close range and is also equipped for infrared combat. Using Heng Long's battle system, up to 20 tanks can engage in friendly IR skirmishes, with sound and movement effects marking each hit. After five hits, the tank is temporarily disabled before reactivating 10 seconds later to rejoin the fight. Safety precautions and eye protection are strongly advised when using the BB firing function.
