Description
Hudy Chassis Droop Gauge Support Blocks (30mm) For 1:8 Off Road LW (2) — part number DY107704 — are precision 30 mm aluminium supports for measuring chassis droop on 1/8 off‑road buggies and truggies. Supplied as a pair, each block is CNC‑machined and drilled for a super‑light yet rigid footprint, helping you achieve consistent, repeatable downstop settings.
Features
- Large-size 1/8 off-road droop gauge support blocks
- CNC-machined aluminium, drilled for light weight
- Exact size for accurate, precise measurements
- Highly recommended for buggy and truggy set-up
Why Droop Matters
Correct chassis droop is critical for balanced suspension down-travel, traction and weight transfer. These 30 mm blocks make it simple to set equal droop side-to-side for predictable handling on changing track conditions.
How To Use
- Remove the tyres and place the chassis on a flat HUDY Set-up Board #108202.
- Position the front block below the servo saver and the rear block below the rear suspension mounting.
- With the HUDY Chassis Ride Height & Droop Gauge #107717 (elevated scales), measure droop under the wheel axle hex.
- Adjust the downstop screws until the desired droop is reached; ensure shocks are not limiting arm movement.
