Ju 88A-5 - WWII German Bomber

The ICM Ju 88A-5 in 1:48 scale recreates the early-war twin‑engine bomber developed by Junkers to meet the 1930s demand for a fast bomber. Entering production from spring 1940 with an increased wingspan and liquid‑cooled Jumo 211G‑1 or H‑1 engines, the A‑5 variant served widely in 1940–1941 across the Battle of Britain, the Balkans and the Eastern Front.

This is ICM’s first plastic model kit of the Ju 88A-5, offering a faithful, accurate copy of the prototype with highly detailed engines and a finely rendered cockpit interior. Kit HC-ICM48232 also includes a four-version decal sheet, allowing multiple historically based marking choices straight from the box.
