After months of development, Reedy’s Sonic 540-M4 5.0T Modified (AS27451) brings competition-ready performance to 1:10 racing. Building on the acclaimed 540-M3, it delivers the same linear powerband and strong mid-range feel while introducing purposeful refinements. The inner bearing has been moved into the can, more precisely aligning the rotor within the magnetic field to help reduce noise and vibration. Externally, the shortened can centralises weight in the chassis and, together with can design improvements, trims approximately 5–10 g for a lighter, more responsive package.

A balanced, high-strength rotor ensures fade-free power, with optional rotors available to fine-tune response for specific tracks and driving styles. Precision stainless steel ball bearings cope with high-RPM loads, while optimised air cooling helps maintain consistent performance over a run. Low-resistance, silver-plated solder tabs and an aluminium end cap round out a motor that is adjustable, rebuildable, and built to ROAR/EFRA/IFMAR specifications.
