Built from lightweight balsa and plywood, the Gee Bee is factory-covered and quick to assemble. It's designed for 20–25cc petrol or equivalent electric power and features pre-hinged control surfaces, durable landing gear, and a detailed fibreglass cowl with a dummy radial engine. Despite its compact profile, the Gee Bee offers smooth aerobatic capability and excellent presence both in the air and on the ground.

About the original:
The Gee Bee R-series aircraft were purpose-built air racers developed by Granville Brothers Aircraft in the early 1930s. Known for their stubby fuselage, huge engines, and blistering speed, the Gee Bees became icons of the Golden Age of Air Racing. While notoriously challenging to fly, they embodied the bold and daring spirit of aviation's early pioneers.
