ProLine 1:8 Convict 2.0 S3 Front/Rear Off-Road Buggy Tyres (2), part PRO9078203, are soft-compound off-road tyres for 1:8 scale buggy wheels. This pair is suitable for suggested front or rear wheel use and includes closed-cell foam inserts for mounting with a compatible wheel and insert combination.
The Convict 2.0 tread pattern is designed for race use on dry, hard-packed surfaces. Small connecting bars help support tread stability, while the updated carcass uses a single-arc sidewall geometry that transitions into the crown with a larger radius. This creates a rounder profile and is intended to improve bump handling, consistency and controlled expansion during running.
Features
The S3 compound is the soft option in the Convict 2.0 range and is specified for dry track conditions. Pro-Line also describes this compound as providing grip on low-bite surfaces with medium wear on wet surfaces. The more firm material is suggested for higher temperatures, while softer material is suggested for lower temperatures. The tyre pattern is intended for both qualifying and main-event use, with the carcass shaped to provide a tailored fit to the wheel and insert package.
These tyres are supplied as a pair rather than as pre-mounted wheels. They are made in the USA, and the Convict 2.0 design is part of Pro-Line's current generation of 1:8 buggy race tyres.
