J Perkins 300 x 600 x 3.00mm (1:8) PLY, part number 5521121, is a brown Spanish Gaboon plywood sheet for model-making and prototype work. It has a B/BB grade, with a clear B face and a BB reverse that retains structural integrity with minimal patches. The pale brown timber has a consistent appearance suitable for painted, varnished or coated finishes.
This plywood uses phenol glue manufactured to EN314-2 Class 3. The bonding specification makes it suitable for projects where the material may encounter moisture, including RC watercraft, experimental gliders, architectural models and other model structures. Its uniform timber texture can be sanded to a fine edge and cut with hand tools or CNC machinery, supporting shaped components and detailed construction.
