J Perkins 300 x 900 x 3.00mm (1:8) PLY, part number 5521123, is a B/BB Spanish Gaboon plywood sheet bonded with phenol glue to EN314-2 Class 3. It is supplied as a brown sheet for model construction, RC watercraft, experimental gliders, marine prototypes and architectural work.
The Gaboon plywood has a lightweight core and a smooth, tight grain that can be sanded to a fine edge. Its uniform texture supports clean cutting with hand tools or CNC machinery, while the B/BB grading provides a clear B face and a BB reverse with minimal patches. The pale wood tone can be used as a base for varnish, marine coatings or painted finishes.
