I purchased the Blackzon Slyder for my 7 year old boy for Christmas and I'm glad that I chose the model and Wheelspin Models. The delivery was next day, which considering it was Christmas week, I was very pleased with. The car itself is great, we've only been able to use indoors due to the weather but my boy is really pleased with it and can't wait to get out in the open. The speed adjustment is perfect for him (and me!) and will dial it up as and when he's getting used to the controls. I'm that impressed that I'm thinking of buying myself one.... I've never got over not getting a Grasshopper or a Lunch Box as a kid!! Will definitely buy again from Wheel Spin

Hi, OK so I feel these little cars deserve a review, I've been into RC cars, planes, boats and drones for the last 30 years on and off, I have an XRT right now for example, I got two of these for my young kids, they are a little too.ypung at 4 and 5 but they are loving them, main choice was speed limiter and good build and price, these are perfect, I love that they are a proper little RC car, good for inside and out, kids have been doing jumps and all. They are so good, my mates have now all got them, that's a total of 9 cars ordered this week by us, I have three now, its going to be great to have a mega session with a small track, what fun, batts are cheap too, opt for the larger battery not included in the kit. Is this a kit of parts rather than an assembled model? How long would assembly take typically? Could a child do it and of what age? Thanks.

This is pre-built model and would suit 6 upwards I'd say.

I'd say 10 - 15 mins on the battery , they are good but have never tried one in the dark to be sure sorry.

The BlackZon Slyder looks almost identical to the FTX Tracer? Are they the same just rebranded or are there fundamental differences? Also are the monster truck versions the same chassis but with different bodies or do they have different parts?

Those 2 car are the same just from different companies and rebranded for each company.  the only difference from the MT and the ST is that the ST has a wing and mount on the back and a different bodyshell.
