AHN Gulaschkanone - WWII German mobile field kitchen

The ICM AHN Gulaschkanone is a 1:35 plastic model kit depicting the WWII German mobile field kitchen mounted in an AHN truck. Reflecting the company kitchens used by the Wehrmacht to provide hot meals in the field—often nicknamed the ‘Goulash Cannon’—this set combines a large wheeled kitchen with the truck platform and period accessories. Food in service was distributed directly into soldiers’ pots or into large thermoses for delivery to units away from the kitchen. Field kitchens were transported by trailer, horse team, or installed in trucks, including French-made AHN vehicles used in Wehrmacht service.
