Tamiya XF-93 Light Brown DAK 1942 (part no. HC-81793) is a water-soluble acrylic from the Tamiya Acrylic Paints Mini range. Supplied in a compact 10ml bottle, this flat finish shade recreates the light brown colour used by the German Afrika-Korps from 1942, making it a strong choice for historically themed military models.

Formulated for smooth brush or spray application, Tamiya acrylics cover well, flow evenly with no blushing or fading, and blend easily. They can be used on styrene resins, styrofoam, wood and common model plastics, and clean up from brushes with water before drying. Within the range, X-designated colours are glossy while XF-designated colours have a flat finish—XF-93 delivers a matte appearance ideal for scale realism.

Tamiya Acrylic Paints are made from water-soluble acrylic resins and are excellent for either brush or spray-painting. These paints can be used on styrene resins, styrofoam, wood, plus all the common model plastics. The paint covers well, flows smoothly with no blushing or fading, and can be blended easily. It can be washed off of brushes easily using water before it dries.

The 'Mini' series offers a choice of glossy, matte and clear finishes, each in a conveniently sized 10ml bottle. X appointed colours have a glossy finish, while XF designated colours have a flat finish.
