Bergepanther with Pz.Kpfw.IV Turret

The Bergepanther was the armoured recovery vehicle variant of the Panther, renowned for its robust armour and formidable presence. In an unusual field modification by Schwere Panzerjäger-Abteilung 653, a Pz.Kpfw.IV turret was installed on a Bergepanther chassis to create a command vehicle. According to some researchers, the turret was fixed and fitted with a dummy gun, allowing the freed interior space to be used for additional radios and map work. This one-off conversion saw service in spring 1944 near Ternopil, Ukraine.

This ICM 1:35 scale kit (HC-ICM35360 / 35360) reproduces the distinctive Bergepanther with Pz.Kpfw.IV Turret based on historical photographs.
