No tyres, so what do I need to get and attach? (Tyres, glue and foam inserts presumably?

That depends on the tyres used drift tyres just push fit on , touring car tyres are glued on and require inserts. Something like this would be glued onFAST373 with this glue SCH-CR522 or drift tyres like these HPI-4422
