Entering service in November 1939, the Beaufort took part in notable raids such as the May 1940 strike on Hamburg oil storage and continued to attack ports and airfields along the French Atlantic coast through 1942. For these missions, standard bomb loads typically comprised 250 lb and 500 lb high-explosive bombs, and until April 1941 the Beaufort was the only RAF type able to carry the full range of British aviation ordnance.

This 1:48 scale kit focuses on the Beaufort’s bombing configuration, providing a comprehensive RAF ordnance set and options to build the aircraft with either 250 lb or 500 lb bombs. Separate decals are supplied not only for the aircraft but also for the included aviation armament, helping you achieve a sharp, authentic finish.
