The CEN Racing 1999 M-Sport Ford Focus Rally 1:16 RTR Brushless Colin McRae Edition, part number CEN8902BL, is a ready-to-run four-wheel-drive radio-controlled rally car.
Its licensed Ford and M-Sport body represents the 1999 Ford Focus rally car, with scale body detailing and 16-spoke rally wheels. The one-piece moulded chassis uses a low centre of gravity design, a fully ball-bearing drivetrain and an accessible battery tray.
Features
A Hobbywing WP-16BL30-RTR G2 electronic speed controller works with the 2838 3600KV brushless motor. The controller is waterproof and dust-proof, and includes low-voltage cut-off protection for Li-Po and NiMH batteries, along with overheat and throttle signal-loss protection.
Power is delivered through a centre-shaft four-wheel-drive system with universal drive shafts. The suspension has oil-filled, adjustable coil-over shocks, hardened steel polished shock shafts and adjustment for caster, ride height and front and rear camber. Steering is provided by a SAVOX B-05KG servo with a high-torque servo saver.
The Mod-3S three-channel pistol-grip radio system operates at 2.4GHz and provides digital trimming, steering dual-rate adjustment, endpoint adjustment and a built-in failsafe. The transmitter requires four AA alkaline batteries, which are not included.
