Description
CEN Reeper SC CEN9510 is a 1/10 4WD RTR brushless short-course truck with a matte black body and red and blue decal sheets. The self-apply decals allow the body finish to be customised, while installed driver and navigator models add scale detail. A full-size spare tyre is also included.
Power comes from a 3660 4000KV brushless motor and a BEAST SL G2 80A ESC. The ESC is waterproof and dustproof, with a 32-bit microprocessor, built-in capacitor module, low-voltage cut-off for LiPo and NiMH batteries, overheat protection and throttle signal-loss protection. Its settings support controlled start-up, acceleration and motor response.
The truck uses a 2.4GHz three-channel pistol-grip radio system with digital trim, steering dual-rate adjustment, end-point adjustment and a built-in failsafe. A Savox metal-gear steering servo provides 12 kg-cm at 6.0V. The dual vertical chassis design includes front and rear impact skid plates and bumpers, an accessible battery tray, an aluminium centre shaft and ball-bearing support.
Adjustable oil-filled coil-over shocks use oversized bodies and 3.5mm hardened steel shafts, while adjustable suspension geometry allows setup changes. The sealed drivetrain has metal transmission gears, front, centre and rear bevel-gear differentials, and four-wheel drive. Short-course wheels use 12mm hexes and are fitted with long-wearing short-course tyres.
