Description
The XRay Composite Chassis Side Guards L/R – Narrow Front – V3 – Medium (XR361278-M) are composite chassis side guards supplied as a left and right set. Designed as part of the Multi-Flex™ chassis tuning system, these medium composite guards provide more flex than the hard composite guards supplied with the kit. This gives the chassis a more forgiving feel and increased traction on lower-traction and bumpy surfaces.
Features
The V3 design combines a narrow front profile with chamfered outer edges. These details help minimise chassis scrub when the car enters jumps and corners, supporting stable and predictable handling. The side guards also feature lowered pockets for mounting electronics lower in the chassis, along with a dedicated nuts pocket that makes installation easier.
As part of the chassis flex adjustment system, the medium composite material allows handling characteristics to be changed for different track conditions. The guards are intended to contribute to jump stability while retaining the smooth cornering behaviour provided by their chamfered edges.
